MEHER — Motto to Empower the Health, Education and Rights — is a non-profit, non-political organisation working with marginalized and oppressed communities in Balochistan and Sindh, Pakistan.

Our story
Established in 2003 by a group of committed young people.
MEHER was established in March 2003 and formally registered in February 2005. It emerged from a shared youth commitment to serve communities whose basic needs and rights were being overlooked.
Since then the organisation has grown from volunteer-led local action into a partner of national institutions and international agencies, while keeping its decision-making close to the villages it serves.
We work for development and empowerment through participatory grassroots interventions — safeguarding basic human rights, providing essential needs and helping eliminate gender inequalities.

MEHER maintains the registrations, financial systems and safeguarding policies required by government departments and institutional donors. Verification documents are available on request.
